Our story

How Automora came to be.

Automora started with a shoebox.

It was full of supplier bills, and it belonged to a small business that lost every Friday afternoon to typing them into a spreadsheet. We built a small AI helper to read those bills for them. Friday afternoons came back. Then the neighbours asked for one.

That helper grew into Automora: an AI agency that builds invoice automation for small and mid-sized businesses, shaped around the way each one already works.

The name comes from automation and aurora, the first light of a new day. That's the feeling we build for: the morning the pile is gone.

What if the AI gets a number wrong?

Every field gets a confidence score. Anything the AI is unsure of comes to you or your bookkeeper first. Nothing is paid or filed outside the rules you set.

Will it work with my accounting software?

We connect to QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books and Sage, plus Gmail and Outlook inboxes. Using something else? Tell us in the quote form and we'll check.

Is my financial data safe?

Your invoices are encrypted while they move and while they're stored, and only the systems you approve can reach them. We never use your data to train public AI models.

How long does setup take?
